Since the opening of The Silver Filament, your safety has been our highest priority. We use a single-use disposable electrolysis filaments at every service. All tweezers are sterilized in a medical autoclave. Other tools and items that cannot be put in an autoclave are disinfected. After a lash service, the remaining lash strips are thrown away and not used on another client. The service provider has always worn a mask and will continue to do so.
Some new protocols are removing the bedding from our treatment bed to be able to properly disinfect the bed. Washing down all high traffic surfaces after every appointment. Our Cancellation Policy has been removed. If you are feeling unwell, you may cancel your appointment at any time without penalty. We are now asking our clients to come to their appointment wearing a mask.
Please ask yourself these questions before showing up to your appointment:
A – Do you have any of the following? Fever, New Onset Cough, Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing
B – Or at Least Two of the Following Symptoms? Sore Throat, Difficulty Swallowing, Digestive Issues (nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain), Runny Nose, Feeling Unwell, Chills, Fatigue, Headache, Stuffy or Congested Nose, Lost your sense of taste or smell, Hoarse Voice, Diarrhea
Have you tested positive or in close contact with someone who is sick or has confirmed COVID-19 in the past 14 days? Have you returned from travel or been in close contact with someone who has been outside Canada in the past 14 days?
If you have answered YES to any of these symptoms, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT ASAP. If you have a Acuity scheduling account with our online booking system, you can cancel yourself through your computer or smart phone. Otherwise you can leave a message, email or text us.
