Shannon began her career in the cosmetology industry in 1998 and holds certifications in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Laser Hair Removal and Electrolysis. After working as a Medical Esthetician with Lasers in 2005 for hair removal, it became clear that Electrolysis is still a vital permanent hair removal method and can work hand-in-hand with Laser. In 2008, she attended a 500 hour Electrolysis program to become a Certified Electrologist. After being employed by several Electrologists throughout B.C. she opened The Silver Filament Electrolysis & Lash Studio in 2011.
Since 2011, Silver Filament Electrolysis & Lash Studio operated out of a few location in Vernon B.C. and as of Sept. 2024 we moved into Lasting Effects Esthetics.
