Shannon began her career in the cosmetology industry in 1998 and holds certifications in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Laser Hair Removal and Electrolysis. After working as a Medical Esthetician with Lasers for hair removal, it became clear that Electrolysis is still a vital permanent hair removal treatment and can work hand-in-hand with Laser. She then decided to pursue Electrolysis and have been employed by several Electrologists throughout B.C. and eventually opening The Silver Filament Electrolysis & Lash Studio.
The Silver Filament was opened in 2011 providing safe Electrolysis and Eyelash Extensions. In 2015, Shannon closed the studio after the birth of her 2nd baby to stay home full-time with her newborn and toddler. Her intention was to one day return to her passion of Electrolysis and Lash Extensions.
In 2017, She got her wish and have been fortunate enough to work for Kathleen's Electrolysis as an Electrologist. In A year later, Shannon was offered to take it over and of course said YES. Now in February 2019, The Silver Filament will reopen.
